The new bailo wants to come by the land route. The new bailo set off from Venice and a kapucu and janissary were sent to accompany him on the route. The Ottoman officials are ordered to never let anyone harass the bailo and his men or take his belongings. They are also ordered to provide them with grains, food and other necessities in exhange for payments .
